Haverhill Research Park is a 12 ha. research and development campus at the western entrance to Haverhill being developed with the stated intention of “bringing the Cambridge Science Park environment to Haverhill.”

As part of the core design team from the outset of this project Indigo were integral to the masterplanning of the scheme and to the release of over 3 ha. of the original planning allocation for housing.

“Indigo have added value to the scheme by designing the required attenuation facility as a positive feature in the centre of the park and by suggesting the use of ‘Lodes’ (ditches common to the Cambridgeshire area) along the frontage of the site to avoid the need for other attenuation facilities on site. Furthermore, by placing these ‘Lodes’ (and other planting) on highways land Indigo have effectively increased the size of developable areas on site.”
