Ignite Salisbury 2035

Chris was one of the guest speakers at the Ignite creative workshop – Salisbury 2035, an event organised by Tim Scrace of Scrace Architects.  The aim of the event was to explore and imagine how we will live in 2035, bringing together creative entrepreneurs and artists for a series of short talks and workshops.

Chris gave a landscape architect’s view of Salisbury from above. Having been tasked by Tim to plant 1,000 trees, he emphasised how more tree-lined roads, rivers, paths and gardens would absorb pollution, improve our wellbeing and reinforce habitat connection for the benefit of wildlife. Chris also shared expert knowledge on success criteria for tree growth in our future and present City and concluded “we must plant more and well!”
