New Forest Crematorium site inspection

Our involvement with the New Forest Crematorium goes back to the outline planning application in 2016 when we prepared an LVIA and a landscape masterplan.  We then took forward the detailed aspects of the scheme for owner, Westerleigh, working closely with them to develop a proposal that was sensitive to its rural setting and provided space for quiet reflection.  The design carefully balances an initial phase of structural planting and subtle earthworks to create a landscape framework that will allow further planting and memorialisation over time.

The crematorium is now open and Zeb visited recently to carry out a site inspection.  We’re thrilled to see the planting has established so well after only six months and we will be working with Westerleigh, Greendale Construction, and Land Products Ltd, over the next year to ensure the project gets off to the best possible start.
