Annedd Integrated Care Home

A dementia care home scheme for Gwalia (now part of the Pobl Group) on a stunning sloping site overlooking Llanybydder. Having previously worked with Design Research Unit Wales on a field study centre in Margam Park, Indigo were commissioned to design the external works for this highly sustainable care home in rural Wales. The courtyard layouts tie in with the architectural geometry and are influenced by the local Welsh quilt designs. Colour and form have been used to bring individual identity to each different space and aid wayfinding.
