Another scheme involving significant community input and a ‘Friends Group’ set up to help steer the project, this project was also a repeat commission, being our second park upgrade scheme for Salisbury District (now City) Council.

Our brief involved expanding upon the ideas generated by the Friends Group and setting out thoughts for a long term masterplan and vision for the park. Our analysis identified the lack of a central focus for the park and therefore proposed wayfinding improvements and a bold concept to create a new social hub within the park. An overall play provision strategy, with areas designated for different activities and ages, also formed a major part of our proposals.
