Client:

Downe House School

Location:

Berkshire

Completion:

2019

Indigo were appointed by Downe House School in mid-2016 to work alongside Design Engine Architects on a prestigious new Learning Centre. We have since worked closely with the school to create a detailed package of external works for the Learning Centre itself with some areas being laid out sacrificially ahead of future investment.

Our input has also included a broader visioning exercise for the school campus to help rationalise access and parking issues on site, and to provide a pedestrian-only plaza at its heart. A suite of coordinated furniture and wayfinding strategy will also form part of the mix.

The Learning Centre and initial phase of the external works has recently been completed, whilst the broader public realm enhancement strategy will be undertaken as part of a future phase of works.
