Jessop Primary School

As part of the Supergrounds project, Indigo was appointed to undertake an ambitious makeover of the featureless, stark playground. The detailed brief was created by Felicity Robinson from Landscapes Naturally, who coordinated intensive consultation with the school.

As a result of our input the whole external environment was transformed, with the final design including challenging and stimulating play opportunities, a variety of spaces for quiet play, green space, woodland and growing areas. The children also worked with artists to create totems, mosaics, and new gates. The scheme was opened to much acclaim by the Rt. Hon. Tessa Jowell MP.
