An interesting scheme on a prominent gateway site in Hemel Hempstead. Having initially worked with Kier Property to develop the neighbouring site with a new Travelodge, Indigo was subsequently appointed to provide input into the urban realm and landscape proposals for this significant mixed use development.

The scheme provides around 300 residential units with additional commercial units at ground level and features a high quality paved plaza, creating a welcoming entrance space integrating the existing Travelodge into the scheme. Podium gardens, roof terraces, biodiverse and sedum roofs also feature at differing levels, creating an interesting and diverse mix of landscape spaces throughout the development.

The project is currently being considered by a new provider and we hope to be working on it further later this year.
